Saturday, February 11, 2012   Faith West Academy Pedaling the Prairie 9:00 AM - 02:00 PM The sixth annual Pedaling the Prairie, a non-competitive bike ride, is to be held Saturday, February 11, 2012. Start time will be 9:00 a.m. from the Waller County Fairgrounds, 22000 Fairground Road, Hempstead, Texas 77445 (290 and FM 359). Pedaling the Prairie is a BP MS150 recommended ride and all proceeds benefit the athletic department of Faith West Academy. The ride travels along several courses ranging from a 24-mile beginner ride to over a 71-mile endurance ride. The various routes take you around the Monaville, Pattison, and Bellville areas. You can expect to experience the prairie, rolling meadows, rural flatlands, and some hills.
